Clay corrects date for parent-teacher meetings

The correct date for parent-teacher conferences at Clay High School is Feb. 20, from 5 to 8 p.m. The school newsletter incorrectly said Feb. 27. To schedule appointments, call the high school at 419-693-0665.

Principal Jeff Thompson reminds parents they should have received first-semester report cards. Any parent with concerns should contact the teacher or guidance counselor.

Goodwill to opennew store Feb. 25

Goodwill Industries of Northwest Ohio Inc. will open its new Oregon store, 3249 Navarre Ave., at 9 a.m. Feb. 25 with a ribbon cutting that includes the Eastern Maumee Bay Chamber of Commerce.

Hours will be 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
