Toledo s Dana Corp. said yesterday it will provide fewer frames and components to Ford Motor Co. for pickup trucks under a renegotiated contract.

Dana, previously sole source of assembled frames for Ford s F-150 pickups, will share the work with another supplier, Dana said in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Dana did not identify the other company.

The new contract will apply to the next generation of F-150 trucks, slated to go on sale in 2008, Dana said in the filing. Ford is Dana s biggest customer, and losing the contract is a setback for the supplier as it works to exit Chapter 11 protection.
