Growth partnership chooses chief executive
2/18/2011The Regional Growth Partnership in Toledo selected its next chief executive Friday, but the organization declined to identify its new hire until next week.
Chairman Dave Waterman said the private-sector economic development group will announce the selected candidate after finalizing such details as the person's salary and start date.
The partnership's CEO position has been vacant since Oct. 8, when Steve Weathers left to become president and CEO of the Savannah Economic Development Authority in Georgia.
