Hicksville-area firm receives expansion aid
11/16/2011The Ohio Department of Development has approved $175,000 for Defiance County on behalf of Manure Management Industries Inc.
The block grant economic development program will be used in conjunction with assistance from the Village of Hicksville and the Defiance County revolving loan fund. The company plans to expand capacity by acquiring a triple-pass dryer for its facility near Hicksville.
The project is expected to create nine full-time equivalent jobs and retain up to four jobs. Overall, seven jobs are to be made available to low to moderate-income people.
