Job fair to be held Wednesday

A free job fair is to be held from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Wednesday at SeaGate Convention Centre in downtown Toledo.

More than 30 businesses and other organizations have registered. Among the potential employers are the Toledo Police Department, which is recruiting a new class of officers, Manpower, which is helping companies hire seasonal workers, and the Zepf Center, which is seeking qualified social workers.

There will be a special entrance for veterans. Please take proper identification.

Job seekers are asked to "dress for success" and have resumes on hand. Copying machines may not be available so plan in advance.

Children and pets (except assistance animals) will not be allowed in the hall during the event.

Concessions will be available for purchase during the event.

Advance registration is recommended.
