2 local funeral homes merge operations to serve Lucas, Wood counties

BOWLING GREEN — Two funeral homes serving Lucas and Wood counties have merged.

As of last Tuesday, Dunn Funeral Home in Bowling Green and Peinert Funeral Homes, with locations in Tontogany, Waterville, and Whitehouse, are operating as Peinert-Dunn Funeral Homes.

Tim Dunn said the merger will allow the four locations to share staff and vehicles, and ensure they remain family-owned.
