The percentage of Toledo-area mortgages that are delinquent by 90 days or more decreased to 5.92 percent in November from 5.95 percent in October, according to data released Tuesday by CoreLogic, a California real estate data firm. A year earlier, the rate was 6.55 percent, CoreLogic said.

The 90-plus day delinquency rate for the Toledo area was lower than the rate for Ohio, which CoreLogic said was 6.88 in November, and the U.S. rate of 6.45 percent.

CoreLogic also said overall foreclosure activity in the area decreased. The firm said 2.77 percent of area homes were in some stage of the foreclosure process in November, down from 2.85 in October.
