Owens Corning joins composite alliance

Toledo-based Owens Corning announced that it will team with BASF and TenCate Advanced Composites to create thermoplastic composites for automobiles.

“There is a critical and growing need in the automotive industry to have lighter, stronger, and more environmentally efficient products,” said Arnaud Genis, Owens Corning Group president.
