■ The Safety Council of Northwest Ohio is presenting its newest Professional Safety Academy program, “Managing Safety Committees,” on Thursday from 8 a.m. to noon. This program focuses on the leadership roles, purpose, function, structure, empowerment, and organization of an effective joint safety and health committee. ■ In recognition of National Honey Month, Scott Cockerell of Wannemacher Total Logistics will talk about various issues within the honey industry at the Northwest Ohio Ag-Business Breakfast Forum from 8 to 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 19 at the Agricultural Incubator Foundation, 13737 Middleton Pike, Bowling Green. ■ The 20 Under 40 leadership recognition event will be held Sept. 26 at Fifth Third Center at One SeaGate. The 109 candidates will be recognized at a reception in the lobby, starting at 5:45 p.m. The 20 winners will be announced at 7 p.m. in the adjacent auditorium.
