ACHIEVEMENTS

■ Charter One has named Robert Griffey as vice president and regional sales manager for its Home Lending Solutions Midwest division. He is based in Toledo and will be responsible for home lending solutions in Indiana, northwestern Ohio, and southern Michigan. He was formerly with Waterford Bank.

■ Scott Schutt has been promoted to marketing manager at MTS Seating in Temperance. He was sales supervisor.

■ Travis L. Rhoades has been named Young Engineer of the Year by the Toledo Society of Professional Engineers. He works for the Maumee-based Mannik & Smith Group Inc.

■ Greg Knudson has been named director of the Center for Business and Economic Development for Indiana University-Purdue University Columbus. He was formerly vice president of sales and marketing at Toledo-based Nextronex Inc., a solar inverter/​power electronics company.

■ Maggie Fawcett has been named assistant manager of The Danberry Company, Realtors’ office on Briarfield Boulevard. She was formerly with Newlove Realty.
