Summer Teen Job Fair is Saturday at SeaGate
4/30/2014The city of Toledo’s annual youth job fair for 16 to 21-year-olds will be Saturday.
Anyone wishing to attend the free Summer Teen Job Fair, which runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the SeaGate Convention Centre, must register through eventbrite.com before 4 p.m. Thursday. Professional dress is encouraged.
In 2013, more than 2,000 young people attended the summer job fair and met potential employers, learned about summer job opportunities, and applied for openings with local business owners.
Businesses are asked to call the Toledo Youth Commission at 419-245-1417 to participate. Employers who are not able to offer jobs are asked to consider internship, volunteer opportunities, or donations to the Youth Commission.
