CALENDAR

■ The Safety Council of Northwest Ohio will present its “Safety Leadership Certificate Program” on Friday and June 13 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The public is invited and attendance is recommended for any employee involved in a safety program. Participants can receive four BWC rebate attendance credits plus 16 contact hours. Cost is $495.00 for SCNWO members and $595.00 for nonmembers. Register at scnwo.org.

■ The Maumee Valley Unit of the National Association of Parliamentarians will meet at 7 p.m. June 9 at the Maumee branch of the Toledo-Lucas County Public Library, 501 River Rd., Maumee.
