ACHIEVEMENTS

■ Andria Beehler-Evans, a senior accounting major at Ohio Northern University, was part of a four-person team that took top honors in the “Project Run With It” competition at the 2014 Beta Alpha Psi conference in Atlanta. Beta Alpha Psi is an honor organization for financial information students and professionals.

■ Three attorneys in the Toledo office of Roetzel have been named to the list of Best Lawyers in America for 2015. They are Patricia Brown Fugée, Denise M. Hasbrook, and Thomas S. Zaremba.

■ Nelson Shaffer, market president with Citizens National Bank in Toledo, has graduated from the 25-month graduate school of banking course at University of Wisconsin-Madison.

CALENDAR

■ “Ask a Patent/​Copyright/​Trademark Attorney” will be held on the first Tuesday of each month from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Toledo-Lucas County Public Library in downtown Toledo. At the free event, which begins Sept. 2, attorneys will provide an overview of intellectual property, explain the differences of patents, trademarks, and copyright, and answer questions.
