Bluffton College official gets honor for aid work

BLUFFTON - Bluffton College's director of financial aid received the first Alex Murdoch Service Award from the Ohio Association of Financial Aid Administrators at the group's annual convention.

Lawrence Matthews was recognized as a longtime leader in financial aid in Ohio. He began working at Bluffton College in 1979 and became financial aid director in 1992.
