Sanders to attend event hosted by Laura Bush

Toledo schools Superintendent Eugene Sanders will be among 350 invited education and community leaders from around the country to attend a White House conference this week on early childhood education.

First Lady Laura Bush hosts the White House Summit on Early Childhood Cognitive Development Thursday and Friday at Georgetown University.

Dr. Sanders said he plans to attend both days of the summit.
