FINDLAY — The University of Findlay has received provisional approval from the Ohio Board of Regents to offer a seventh master's degree program — this one in liberal studies.
The liberal studies program, described as a “flexible and interdisciplinary program of study in the humanities, fine arts, and social sciences,” will be directed by Dr. Marie Louden-Hanes, an associate professor of art at the university since 1986.
University officials say they hope to receive formal approval for the program Nov. 15.
