ARCHBOLD, Ohio - The Archbold school board has a few more capital improvement projects on tap, thanks to money not needed for the high school addition project.
The school board approved nine projects Tuesday - including repaving a high school parking lot and replacing the middle school stage curtain - for a total of $139,000.
That means another $450,000 is available to either begin paying back the bond or for future capital improvement projects, Superintendent Ken Cline said.
Voters approved a $3.3 million bond issue in November, 2000, for the construction of a 16-classroom addition to the high school, as well as an addition to the industrial arts shop.
The actual construction costs came to about $2.4 million, leaving some extra funds.
