Fremont elevates teacher to lead Croghan School

FREMONT - The Fremont board of education has hired one of the district's elementary teachers as principal of Croghan School.

On Tuesday evening Timothy Wilhelm of Fremont was given a two-year contract at a starting salary of $52,890 a year.

Mr. Wilhelm, who teaches fifth grade at Lutz School, will replace Ken Jenkins, who is retiring at the end of the school year.
