BOWLING GREEN - Bowling Green State University officials have named the fourth permanent dean in less than a month, this time for the college of health and human services.

Dr. Linda Petrosino, 52, associate dean of the BGSU college since July and chairwoman of the department of communication disorders, will take over the post Aug. 1.

She will be paid $126,000 annually, and will replace Dr. Clyde Willis, who is retiring after 17 years as dean.

Dr. Petrosino joined the BGSU faculty in 1986.

She received her bachelor's and master's degrees in speech pathology and audiology from Ithaca College in New York. Her doctorate in speech-language pathology is from Ohio University in Athens.

Her appointment brings BGSU to its full complement of 10 permanent deans.

In recent weeks, officials have named permanent deans for the graduate college, the college of education and human development, and the college of musical arts.
