BLUFFTON, Ohio - Bluffton College has launched a two-year campaign to raise $5.65 million to pay for an addition to the student union, the renovation of two academic buildings, and to boost the Bluffton College Fund.

Stan Clemens, vice president for advancement, said $2.4 million already had been raised in cash and pledges from members of the board of trustees and faculty and staff at the college. The campaign, which is now going public, has been dubbed, "Students First: Investing in the Future."

The money will be used as follows: $2 million to enlarge Marbeck Center by 6,000 square feet, $600,000 to renovate Mosiman Hall, $150,000 to make improvements at College Hall, and $2.1 million to boost the annual Bluffton College Fund, which makes up the difference between what students pay in tuition and what the college's actual costs are.
