Lima college to issue construction bonds

LIMA, Ohio — Rhodes State College trustees yesterday ap|proved a resolution authorizing the former Lima Technical College to issue bonds for construction of an information technology building.

The two-year-college needs to raise $3.1 million that will be combined with the state's contribution to pay for construction. The entire project is expected to cost $8.23 million.

College President Dr. Earl Keese said he hopes to break ground next month and begin offering classes in the winter quarter of 2005.

The building will be used for teaching digital media, Internet security, and other information technologies.
