The former, 20-year president of the University of Findlay in Hancock County is a candidate for the same job at Glenville State College in Glenville, W.Va.

Kenneth Zirkle is scheduled to visit the campus on Nov. 13th and 14th. The two other candidates include Glenville's current interim president, Robert Freeman, and Curtis Smith, provost and vice president for academic affairs at California University of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Zirkle was a finalist this summer for the president's job at Terra State Community College in Fremont.

He officially left the University of Findlay in July, after announcing earlier this year that he was leaving the school to take a one-year sabbatical.
