7/28/2004Jessica Vogel of Toledo was a state finalist in the National American Miss Ohio Pageant recently held in Columbus.
The pageant was for girls ages 10 to 12. Jessica will be in the sixth grade this fall at St. Joan of Arc School.
Vikrum Vora, who will be a senior at Sylvania Southview High School this fall, was chosen to attend the Gillette Company Economics for Leaders program held July 19 to 26 at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.
The program combined economics and leadership training for 30 students from around the country.
It is co-sponsored by the Foundation for Teaching Economics, based in Davis, Calif.
