Lima Senior High to hold open house

LIMA, Ohio The public will get its first look inside the new Lima Senior High School during a dedication and open house from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday.

The school, just east of downtown, is part of a $116 million building renovation and replacement program largely paid for through the Ohio School Facilities Commission. As part of the six-year project, Lima is replacing its 14 school buildings with four new and one renovated elementary buildings, two new and one renovated middle schools, and the high school.

Also opening with the start of classes next week is a new South Middle School and Independence Elementary.
