Rossford: Donations help to furnish schools

8/25/2004

The six schools in the Rossford Exempted Village Schools district were given a variety of furniture items, including bookcases, partition devices, file cabinets, and computer desks for the upcoming school year.

The furniture is valued at several thousand dollars and was donated by National Family Opinion Research, said Diana Hersch, communications liaison for Rossford schools.

"We were unsure about being able to furnish some of the renovations," Ms. Hersch said. "Some administrators and staff members were sitting at very dilapidated furniture and the desks are going to help us a great deal."

The items were officially accepted at last week's Rossford Board of Education meeting.
