Siena Heights picks new assistant dean of students

Damon Sloan has been named assistant dean of students at Siena Heights University in Adrian. Mr. Sloan, 30, also is director of residence life.

In addition to his residence life duties, Mr. Sloan will oversee student judicial affairs, serve as adviser to the Student Programming Association, and work with graduate assistants involved in student activities, according to university officials.

Mr. Sloan, in his second year at Siena, previously worked in residence life at Central Michigan University. About 2,000 students are enrolled at Siena Heights, a Catholic university founded and sponsored by the Adrian Dominican sisters.
