Student of the Week: Dan Dippman

Dan Dippman is a 24-year veteran at Genoa High School and a building leader for academic improvement. He is involved in aligning his classes with the state model, and is a leader in preparing students for the Ohio Graduation Test.
He holds comprehensive certification in all areas of social studies, and displays his computer savvy with his lesson plans on the school district Web site.
He has been coaching the boys' basketball team for 19 years; is an "Honored Educator" of Ottawa County, and is a wonderful role model for the students.
"Mr. Dippman is always ready to make changes that benefit our students' success probability," said principal Jim Henline.
