Teacher of the Week: Nancy Mihalik

Nancy Mihalik, a graduate of the University of Toledo, is beginning her 12th year at Central Catholic High School. She teaches 10th-grade English and is the school's cheerleading advisor.

Mrs. Mihalik is an extremely kind and caring member of the faculty. She respects her students, and in return, her students show her that same respect. She is certain to make every class, every day, exciting, meaningful and rewarding.

"Mrs. Mihalik has a genuine enthusiasm for the subject matter she teaches," said principal Michael Kaucher. "She is a well-prepared, knowledgeable and enthusiastic teacher. She prides herself on seeing that each and every student succeeds. Ms. Mihalik is committed to fulfilling the mission and philosophy of Central Catholic High School. Many of her students return after graduation and express what a positive impact she has had on their lives."
