Bowling Green ready to share ideas for schools

BOWLING GREEN - After spending months holding small group discussions about the future of the Bowling Green city schools, the district is planning a large gathering to identify the top issues it faces.

Residents and students are invited to the meeting at the high school cafeteria at 7 p.m. Thursday to hear about what came out of the discussion groups that met during the spring and summer, then to break into small groups and identify the two biggest issues facing the district.

Superintendent Hugh Caumartin said he hopes for a good turnout so the board gets an idea of what people feel is important. The board will use that input to formulate a plan of action in the next few months.
