Vice president named for Bluffton University

BLUFFTON - An associate professor of history at the University of Dayton has been named vice president and dean of academic affairs at Bluffton University.

William V. Trollinger, Jr., also is director of the Core integrated studies program at the University of Dayton, working with faculty on curriculum design. His appointment at Bluffton will take effect July 1, 2005.

Mr. Trollinger replaces John Kampen, who left Bluffton to become academic dean and professor of New Testament at Methodist Theological School in Ohio.
