Student of the Week: Anisha Adusumilli

Anisha Adusumilli, a senior from Holland, plans to attend a four-year university but has an undecided major. She enjoys television broadcasting, advanced placement calculus, honors chemistry, advanced placement English and guitar and carries a 4.4 grade point average.

Anisha is on the national honor roll, has been recognized in Who's Who Among American High School Students, was honored as Maumee Elks student of the month and was freshman homecoming attendant. She was the winning essayist in the 2003-2004 Springfield High School laws of life essay contest. She has been in school musicals, received academic excellence awards and recorded a personal CD.Anisha is a member of the varsity cheerleading squad, drama club, International Thespian Society, National Honor Society, French and Spanish clubs, student government, prom committee and the varsity S club, as well as being a student of dance, piano and voice.

"Anisha is unmatched in her ability to multi-task and still uphold the highest possible academic load with nearly a perfect GPA." said math teacher James Howe.

She is the daughter of Ravi Adusumilli and Bhavani Koneru.
