Student of the Week: Colleen Neuman

Colleen Neuman, a senior from Metamora, plans to attend Bowling Green State University in the fall. Her goal is to obtain a dual major in graphic design and visual communication and a minor in business. Her favorite subjects are English and math and she carries a 4.0 grade point average.

Colleen is captain of the cheerleading squad and has received numerous academic awards as well as the design/illustration award for her art exhibit. She is president of 4-H Palmyra Future Leaders, vice president of Students Against Destructive Decisions, student council secretary/treasurer, and member of the National Honor Society and the varsity art club. Colleen is a member of the Metamora United Methodist Church.

"Colleen is an extremely talented, well-rounded student who always strives to go above and beyond in everything she does," said visual arts instructor Zimmerman. "She will be highly successful wherever her chosen career path takes her."

Colleen is the daughter of Steven and Dawn Neuman.
