Dominique Comer of Sylvania, a student at Sylvania Northview High School, has received a BP America Inc. Achievement Scholarship through the National Achievement Scholarship program.

The award is valued at more than $1,000 per year and is renewable to the recipient for four years.

The scholarship program is a privately financed, academic competition for outstanding black American high school students.
