Julia O'Connell of Toledo, a senior at Central Catholic High School, has received a $2,000 Patricia A. Baibak Teen Volunteer Scholarship from the St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center Auxiliary. Julia will attend the auxiliary general membership meeting May 4 at the Sylvania Country Club, where she will speak on the positive effects of volunteering.

Jocelyn Oblizajek of Toledo, a 2004 Central Catholic High School graduate and a nursing program student at the University of Toledo, has received a $1,000 Patricia A. Baibak Teen Volunteer Scholarship.

Beth Riggle of Sylvania, a senior at Notre Dame Academy, is one of 10 national winners of the AXA Achievement Scholarship, co-sponsored by U.S. News & World Report magazine. Beth and the other winners will be highlighted in the April 18 issue of U.S. News & World Report.

She will receive a new computer and a scholarship of $25,000.
