Archbold: School administrators get pay increase

8/3/2005

Six Archbold Area Local School District administrators are getting a 2.5 percent pay increase this year.

The school board unanimously approved the increase for three principals, the curriculum director, psychologist, and superintendent in July. It will cost the district $11,600 a year and take the salary for Superintendent Ken Cline, the district's highest paid employee, to $106,750.

The raises are lower than most other staff received and less than what the administrators received last year. Teachers and other staff got 3 percent increases this year, in accordance with a contract approved in 2003. Last year, the administrators raises were about 3.3 percent.
