Elizabeth is a National Merit semifinalist, is on the honor roll, and received first honors since her freshman year.

She is a member of the crew team and received the athlete-of-the-week award in the spring of 2005. She is recipient of the outstanding witness award for the mock trial team, and is a member of the pep club, executive student council, and the art club.

Elizabeth is a teen volunteer at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, has traveled to Appalachia on a service project, and does scripture-study teaching at St. Rose Parish.

"Beth is every teacher's dream," said Advanced Placement English IV teacher Laura Gallaher. "She approaches each class as an opportunity to explore the world and her place in it. Her work ethic, integrity, intelligence, and insight distinguish her as one of the finest students I've had the pleasure of working with."

Elizabeth is the daughter of Michael and Rose Brownson.
