Student of the Week: Jeremiah Davis

11/9/2005

Jeremiah Davis, a sophomore from Toledo, plans to attend college, participate in athletics, and become involved in the music industry. He enjoys math and has a 3.4 grade-point average.

Jeremiah is ranked in the top 10 of his sophomore class, is a Hoby Youth Leadership representative, and is on the honor roll. He plays football and basketball, runs track, and volunteers as a youth football camp coach.

"Jeremiah is an outstanding young man," said counselor Lynne McAbier. "He attends Toledo Technology Academy, which has a longer school day, yet he finds time to play three sports for Scott High School. Jeremiah balances his academics and sports and volunteers his time. He is respected by his teachers and his peers. He is an excellent role model for high school students. He will do well in life."
