Evergreen Local names treasurer for district

METAMORA, Ohio Denise Leu, deputy registrar and part-time accounting instructor at Northwest State Community College, will start work Jan. 3 as treasurer of Evergreen Local School District. The school board hired her on a two-year contract at a $50,000 annual salary.

Mrs. Leu will replace Linda Kidwell, who had been district treasurer since 1998 and was paid $59,800. Ms. Kidwell left Nov. 30 to become treasurer of Galion City School District.
