1/11/2006

Lauren Krasniewski, a senior from Toledo, is undecided on which university to attend but plans to study pre-med or communications. She has a 4.3 grade-point average and enjoys English, chemistry, and calculus.

Lauren is involved in Youth Leadership Toledo; Peace Jam, an organization bringing together youth from Toledo-area high schools; and Youth in Philanthropy Encouraging Excellence. She is student council president; St. Ursula ambassador; and a member of the National Honor Society, varsity soccer team, campus ministry core team, Angela's Arrows, teen pep, and art and science clubs.

"Lauren is a bright, intelligent young woman of high moral integrity whose leadership skills are clearly evident," said principal Jane R. McGee. "She is a rare blend of success in academics, on the soccer field, in student government and in service to others. Her smile and her boundless energy are invigorating and infectious."

Lauren is the daughter of Gary and Christine Krasniewski.
