FINDLAY Officials at the University of Findlay have announced plans to begin accepting students into the new pharmacy program, which has received preliminary approval for starting classes this year.

Last year, the university took its first step in creating a doctor of pharmacy degree on campus when it received approval from the Ohio Board of Regents. Additional approvals have come in recent months, with a final approval from the Accreditation Council on Pharmacy Education expected in July.

Findlay s program would be the third offered in northwest Ohio, with the two others at Ohio Northern University and at the University of Toledo.
