Lima-area district hires elementary principal

ARCADIA, Ohio Arcadia Elementary Principal Dan Vermillion has resigned effective July 31 to take a new job with the Shawnee Local Schools near Lima.

Mr. Vermillion will be principal at Elmwood Elementary, which houses Shawnee students in kindergarten, first, and second grades.

He was awarded a two-year contract with an annual salary of $72,000.
