Archbold hires principal for high school

ARCHBOLD - The Archbold Area Local school board unanimously hired Timothy J. Meister, the Bryan High School athletic director and occupational work adjustment coordinator, as the new Archbold High School principal Monday night.

Mr. Meister, who lives near Bryan, teaches English and vocational studies to freshmen and sophomores in a program that aims to help students find and keep jobs. He was the boys varsity basketball and golf coach at Bryan as well.

Archbold gave him a three-year contract starting Aug. 1 that calls for an annual salary of $80,000. He was chosen from 24 applicants to replace Marcia Rozevink, whose last day was June 30. Ms. Rozevink, who was principal for 11 years, was paid $83,000 this past school year.
