The University of Toledo s graduate engineering program was ranked 18th in the country by the Princeton Review, a test preparation company that publishes college guides.

In its first-ever ranking of graduate engineering programs, the Review examined test scores, undergraduate grade-point averages, and acceptance rates, among other factors. There are 403 graduate students with an average GPA of 3.56 at UT s college of engineering.

The Review s formula placed the University of California, Santa Barbara, first. Ohio State University ranked 15th, while the University of Michigan was 20th.

Information on how many engineering schools were considered for the ranking was unavailable, a Princeton Review spokesman said.
