Dedication ceremony for Start High is today

A dedication ceremony will be held today for Start High School, which students and staff began using last month.

The ceremony begins at 5:30 p.m. at the school, 2010 Tremainsville Rd. Toledo Public Schools administrators, school board members, parents, and students are expected to participate.

At 306,000 square feet, Start is the third-largest high school in the state, according to the Ohio School Facilities Commission. Construction on the $41 million project began in October, 2005.
