University of Findlay fills chair endowed by Dana

FINDLAY The former president of Blanchard Valley Health Foundation has been named the University of Findlay s Dana Chair.

Ann Buis, who served as president of the foundation from 2001 to 2007, will mentor students in the Dana Scholars program.

Each school year, the university names an executive to the position, endowed by Dana Corp., to serve as a mentor to the scholars who work together in a class and on projects and visit local industries where they interact with top executives.

Ms. Buis of Findlay also was employed by the Blanchard Valley Health System as service excellence manager and director of public relations.

She is involved in a number of community organizations and was a founding member of the Findlay Area Arts Partnership.
