BOWLING GREEN No charges will be filed against a Bowling Green State University police officer accused of serving alcohol to minors at a party at his home, the city prosecutor said yesterday.

After reviewing an investigation by Bowling Green police, Prosecutor Matt Reger said there was no evidence or statements to confirm that any underage drinking took place at a potluck the officer hosted at his Bowling Green home April 24.

Mr. Reger said the officer, who remains on duty, had invited some BGSU students who worked at the university s safety services office, some of whom were 21, some of whom were younger. He said police interviewed everyone who attended the party and found no evidence of underage drinking or that the officer was providing a place for underage drinking, Mr. Reger said.
