Owens alumni holding drive for school supplies

Owens Community College s Alumni Association is holding a donation drive this summer to collect school supplies and gently used backpacks for low-income elementary students throughout northwest Ohio.

Backpacks, crayons, markers, glue, colored pencils, school boxes, and other items can be donated at the office of alumni relations on Owens Perrysburg Township campus and at the enrollment services office on its Findlay campus.

The alumni association has collected more than 1,150 backpacks and 17,500 school supply items since establishing the program in 2004. For information, call 567-661-7876.
