Interim superintendent at Bellevue gets pact

2/27/2010

BELLEVUE, Ohio — Interim Superintendent Kim Schubert yesterday was given a three-year contract by the Bellevue school board.

Ms. Schubert stepped in as interim superintendent in July after former Superintendent William “Bud” Martin and his assistant, Darrell Hykes, were suspended without pay stemming from allegations of sexual harassment.

The school board formally terminated Mr. Martin this month. The board gave Ms. Schubert a contract running through July 20, 2013, at an annual salary of $99,000.
