Students go green for author's birthday

Quincy Harris is a bit hesitant as he samples some green eggs and ham during a celebration of the late Dr. Seuss' birthday at Riverside Elementary. Fifth graders at the school yesterday also made ‘Cat in the Hat'-style headgear and read stories by Theodor Seuss Geisel, who was born March 2, 1904, and wrote and illustrated 44 children's books before his death in 1991.
