Faculty, staff, and students at Central Catholic High who belong to several support groups release message balloons at the Toledo school's Gallagher Stadium. Students in support groups dealing with grief wrote messages to their deceased loved ones and released them yesterday as a symbolic way of communicating with them; those in other support groups used the biodegradable balloons as a way of sending away their problems and worries. This was the third year for the exercise.
